Adults attending FLY 2019, can you help us out?

We’re glad that you are joining us in the Rockies at the 2019 FLY convention, and I pray this time will be spiritually refreshing and renewing for you as it is for the hundreds of teenagers that will attend. My prayer is that each one who attends will see and respond to the redemptive love and grace the Great I AM offers.

The purpose of the Free Lutheran Youth (FLY) Convention is to provide congregations with a tool for winning the lost, building the believer, and encouraging student disciplemaking in the local congregation. Here is where you can help us and your church. We are expecting between 1800-2000 total people (teenagers, staff, adults, and children) in attendance this year. Due to the limited seating capacity in the Longhouse, which is our main meeting area, and because the primary focus of the FLY Convention is reaching teenagers with the gospel of Christ; we are offering a “satellite” location on the YMCA Campus and asking all who are registered as adults and/or children to attend our evening session in our designated location, Assembly Hall. This will leave the Longhouse for our Students, Dorm Room Leaders, and Youth Workers.

Assembly Hall will include a high quality livestream feed direct from the Longhouse, lighting and sound levels tailored for adults and children, and room for kids to move around freely. Our satellite location is in close proximity to the adult and family housing for easy access to your room during the evening sessions. Plus, you will have exclusive access to our FLY Coffeehouse!

Students, Dorm Room Leaders, and Youth Workers are required to attend evening sessions in the Longhouse and will not be allowed into our satellite venue during the evening session.

Thank you for your partnership and consideration,

Pastor Eric Christenson
2019 FLY President
